Pitchfork Top 20: April 12th, 2015

Pitchfork Trending has found an astonishing paradigm shift in the listening habits of users over the previous week, hipsters finding solace in ancient traditional and obscure Ukrainian and Russian choral hymnals. Reports are filtering in of previously secluded, and outright condescending, hipster communes transforming into ideals of a new form of hipsterism: Monastic hipster abbeys.

Social engineers around the world are discovering that with the world’s airwaves suddenly filled with the spiritual hymnals of the Kyiv Chamber Choir exploring the mysteries of Christ incarnate–Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again–an unexplainable peace has begun to permeate through the aural spectrum of society. Many of the world’s suffering have often cried out in deep frustration: “O God, make speed to save us.” And now the hipsters of the world are joining in unison, the response of the downtrodden: “O Lord, Make haste to help us.”

We here at badhipster.com would like to join in this revolution, and proclaim the Lord be with you.

And also with you.

Kyrie eleison.
